هدف البحث الحالي إلى تعرف أثر تدريس الرياضيات باستخدام استراتيجية الأبعاد السداسية (PDEODE) المدعمة ببيئة تعلم إلكترونية في تنمية مهارات الحل الإبداعي للمشكلات الرياضياتية والاستيعاب المفاهيمي لدى طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي. وتكونت مجموعة البحث من (80) طالبة، مقسمة إلى مجموعتين إحداهما تجريبية (40) طالبة، والأخرى ضابطة (40) طالبة. وقد قدم البحث ثلاث أدوات للمعالجة التجريبية تمثلت في: دليل المعلم، كتيب الطالب، بيئة تعلم الكتروني، كما قدم أداتي قياس تمثلت في اختباري الحل الإبداعي للمشكلات الرياضياتية والاستيعاب المفاهيمي في الرياضيات. واستخدم البحث المنهج التجريبي ذو التصميم شبه تجريبي القائم على المجموعات المتكافئة، من خلال اختيار مجموعتين إحداهما تجريبية تدرس باستخدام استراتيجية الأبعاد السداسية PDEODE المدعمة ببيئة تعلم إلكترونية، والأخرى ضابطة تدرس بالطريقة المعتادة، وتطبيق أدوات القياس قبلياً وبعدياً. وأسفرت نتائج البحث عن فاعلية استراتيجية الأبعاد السداسية PDEODE المدعمة ببيئة تعلم إلكترونية في تدريس الرياضيات في تنمية الحل الإبداعي للمشكلات الرياضياتية ككل ومكوناته الفرعية (فهم التحديات - توليد الحلول - التحضير للتنفيذ)، والاستيعاب المفاهيمي في الرياضيات ككل وأبعاده الفرعية (التوضيح، التفسير، التطبيق، تكوين منظور، المشاركة الوجدانية، معرفة الذات) لدى طالبات الصف الأول الثانوي، وفي ضوء تلك النتائج أوصى البحث بأهمية توظيف استراتيجية الأبعاد السداسية المدعمة ببيئة تعلم إلكترونية في تدريس الرياضيات، وعقد برامج تدريبية على استخدامها للمعلمين قبل وأثناء الخدمة. This study aimed at investigating the Effect of PDEODE (Predict-Discuss-Explain Observe-Discuss-Explain) teaching strategy supported by E-learning environment on improving secondary school students’ creative problem-solving and conceptual understanding in Mathematics. To fulfill the purpose of the study, an E-learning environment was utilized, a Student Activity Book and Teacher’s Guidebook were designed, as well as a creative problem solving skills test and conceptual understanding test were constructed. The validity and reliability of the study instruments were established before their use in the study. The study adopted the quasi-experimental design and the research design used a pretest-posttest control group. Eighty (80) students in the first year of secondary school were involved in this study, where 40 students represented the experimental group and 40 represented the control group. The PDEODE Strategy, supported with an E-learning environment, was administered to the experimental group, whereas the control group received the regular teaching. The creative problem-solving skills test and conceptual understanding test scores were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitative. Statistical data analysis, using an independent t-test, of student test scores point to statistically significant differences (p<0.05) in total scores of both the creative problem-solving test and its components as well as the conceptual understanding test and its components. Results of this study suggest that the PDEODE is a more effective teaching strategy when supported by an E-Learning environment. (Published abstract)
