هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف واقع الثقافة التكنولوجية لدى الطلبة في الجامعات الاردنية الحكومية ومتطلبات تطويرها من وجهة نظرهم، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتم تصميم الاستبانة كأداة للدراسة، تكونت من 60 فقرة وزعت على أربعة مجالات (مجال مبررات الثقافة التكنولوجية، ومجال عوامل اكتساب الثقافة التكنولوجية، ومجال مفهوم المثقف تكنولوجياً وخصائصه ومهارته، ومجال المتطلبات اللازمة لتطوير الثقافة التكنولوجية). طبقت على عينة عشوائية من طلبة الجامعات الأردنية بلغ عددهم (400) طالباً وطالبة، وأهم ما توصلت إليه نتائج الدراسة أن واقع الثقافة التكنولوجية لدى طلبة الجامعات الأردنية مرتفع حيث أن المتوسط الكلي لواقع الثقافة التكنولوجية لدى الطلبة في الجامعات الاردنية الحكومية من وجهة نظرهم بلغت (3.86) وبدرجة مرتفعة، مما يشير إلى قيام الجامعات بتوفير مستوى عال من الوعي وانتشار الثقافة التكنولوجية بين الطلبة. وفي ضوء تلك النتائج قدمت الدراسة توصياتها من خلال إجراء دراسات استشرافية للجامعات الاردنية لتعزيز المسؤولية التربوية لدى طلبتها، تقوم بوضع ضوابط لاستخدام التكنولوجيا في النطاق الذي لا يؤثر على حياتهم الواقعية، ووضع الآليات المناسبة لتمكين الشباب من تحقيق أقصى فائدة ممكنة من ثورة التكنولوجيا. This study aimed to find out reality of the technology culture among the students in the Jordanian public universities and requirements for its development from their point of view. The study used the descriptive method, and designing the questionnaire as the study instrument. It consisted of (60) clauses distributed to four fields (Justifications Field of The Technological Culture, field of factors to acquire the technological culture, field of concept of the technology cultured and his features and skills, and field of the required demards to develop the technological culture. The questionnaire was applied to a random sample of the Jordanian universities students, their number reached (400) male and female students. The most important results reached from the study that reality of the technological culture Jordanian universities students was high. Since the total mean of reality of the technological culture among the students in the public Jordanian Universities from their point of view reached (3.86) at a high degree which indicates that the universities provide a high level of awareness and the spread of technological culture among students. In light of the results, the study introduced its recommendations by conducting prospective studies for Jordanian universities to enhance the educational responsibility of their students. They set controls for the use of technology in the range that does not affect their real life, and put in place appropriate mechanisms to enable young people to achieve the maximum possible benefit from the technology revolution.
