هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الفروق بين الذكور والإناث من المرشدين النفسيين في كل من: التسامي بالذات، والاتجاه نحو مهنة المرشد النفسي، والاستغراق الوظيفي؛ وتحديد مدى إسهام التسامي بالذات وأبعاده الفرعية في التنبؤ بكل من: الاتجاه نحو مهنة المرشد النفسي، والاستغراق الوظيفي. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (148) مرشدًا ومرشدةً، (32 منهم عينة استطلاعية)؛ تم استخدام مقياس التسامي بالذات؛ ومقياس الاتجاه نحو مهنة المرشد النفسي، ومقياس الاستغراق الوظيفي، وتوصلت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق بين الذكور والإناث على متغيرات الدراسة، عدا بُعد التوجه لمهنة المرشد النفسي، حيث كان الفرق دال عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) في اتجاه الإناث؛ وساهمت أبعاد التسامي بالذات: القدرة على إيجاد المعني، والعلاقات البينشخصية، والقيمية، والحكمة في تفسير (40%) من تباين درجات الاتجاه نحو مهنة المرشد النفسي؛ وأسهمت الأبعاد: القدرة على إيجاد المعني، والوعي بالذات، والعلاقات البينشخصية، والحكمة، والتعامل مع الموقف في تفسير (52%) من تباين درجات الاستغراق الوظيفي، واختتمت الدراسة بمجموعة من التوصيات. The study aimed to identify the differences between males and female psychological counselor in: Self-Transcendence, attitude toward psychological counselor, Jop engagement; The sample of the study consisted of 148 counselor (32 exploratory samples); Self-Transcendence scale, and attitude toward psychological counselor scale, and Jop engagement scale prepared by the researcher. The results found no differences between males and females on the study variables, except orientation of profession of psychological counselor, where the difference at the level of (0.05) in the direction of females; Finding meaning, interpersonal relations, valuing, and wisdom (40%) of the varying degrees of attitude toward psychological counselor, and contributed both Finding meaning, self-awareness, interpersonal relations, wisdom and dealing with different situations of (52%) of the degrees of Self-Transcendence, the study concluded with a set of recommendations.
