هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على أثر برنامج تعليمي مستند إلى نموذج سكمان الاستقصائي لتحسين مهارات الفهم القرائي في مادة اللغة العربية لدى طلبة الصف الثالث الأساسي في محافظة الكرك. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (40) طالباً وطالبة من طلبة الصف الثالث الاسأسي في مدرسة امرع الأساسية المختلطة، موزعين بشكل عشوائي على مجموعتين (تجريبية وضابطة): تكونت المجموعة التجريبية من (20) طالباً وطالبة تم تدريسهم باستخدام نموذج سكمان الاستقصائي، وتكونت المجموعة الضابطة من (20) طالباً وطالبة تم تدريسهم بالطريقة الاعتيادية. تكونت أداة الدراسة من اختبار الفهم القرائي الذي صممه الباحثان، حيث تكون الاختبار من (25) فقرة من نوع اختيار من متعدد، وتم ايجاد صدقه وثباته للتأكد من صلاحية فقرات الاختبار في تحقيق أهداف الدراسة، واظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في اختبار الفهم القرائي بين المجموعة التجريبية والمجموعة الضابطة لصالح المجموعة التجريبية التي درست باستخدام نموذج سكمان الاستقصائي، واوصت الدراسة بضرورة استخدام نموذج سكمان الاستقصائي في تدريس مادة اللغة العربية لما له من أثر ايجابي في تحسين مهارات الفهم القرائي. This study aimed to identify the effect of an educational program based on Skman investigative model on improving reading comprehension in the Arabic language subject for third-grade students in Karak governorate. The sample of the study consisted of (40) male and female students from the third grade of basic school in Emma Mixed Basic School, who were distributed randomly into two groups (experimental and control). The experimental group consisted of (20) students who were taught using Skman investigative model, and the control group consisted of (20) male and female students who were taught via the usual method. The study instruments consisted of the reading comprehension test developed by the researchers. The test consisted of (25) items of a multiple-choice type, and its validity and reliability were found to ensure the validity of the test items in achieving the objectives of the study. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the reading comprehension test between the experimental group and the control one in favor of the experimental group. The study recommended using the investigative Skman model in teaching Arabic language because of its positive effect on improving reading comprehension skills. (Published abstract)
