This study was conducted in Spring Semester in 2017 at the Faculty of Education (FOE), Misurata University (MU). It aimed at ensuring whether the university's previously set. goals have been practically and scientifically achieved at the (FOE) through practicing the different roles that has been assigned to it. It will scientifically measure how much percent of these goals have been practically achieved. The data of this study was collected represents the viewpoint of different teaching staff and heads of scientific departments inside the Faculty. Some of the major findings was to determine the performance level of the (FOE) towards achieving its educational and scientific goals. In addition, the survey tried to determine the real status quo of the faculty according to the three main goals it has set. To collect the data, the study used a closed-ended questionnaire consists of 41questions based on three main headings. Participants of this study were randomly selected, either being teaching staff members or heads of scientific departments. The number of participants represents (34%) of the total number of teachers and heads. The researcher used a descriptive analytical method to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that: 1) The performance of the (FOE) at (MU) for its assigned roles in the light of its Pedagogical and educational goals from the point of view of the heads of scientific departments and faculty members was at the intermediate level. 2) The performance of the (FOE) at (MU) for its assigned roles in relation to the academic and intellectual environment at the low level. 3) The performance of the (FOE) at (MU) on the roles assigned to it in relation to educational programs and teaching decisions at the intermediate. 4) The performance of the (FOE) at (MU) for its assigned roles in relation to the comprehensive evaluation at the low level. 5) There are no statistically significant differences at significant level α=0.05 between the average grades of the heads of the scientific departments and the faculty members on the performance of the (FOE) at (MU) for their assigned roles in light of their Pedagogical and educational goals.
