هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في تطوير الممارسات التدريسية لمعلمي الرياضيات بالمرحلة المتوسطة والثانوية بإدارة تعليم صبيا من وجهة نظرهم حيث استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي وكانت الاداة  استبانةً مكونةً من أربعة محاور هي : (الممارسة التدريسية ــ تخطيط الدرس ــ والممارسة التدريسية ــ تنفيذ الدرس ــ والممارسة التدريسية ــ تقويم الدرس ــ و تبادل الخبرات) .كما بلغ عدد أفراد عينة الدراسة (115) معلماً ومعلمةً. حيث توصلت الدراسة إلى أن النتائج بشكل عام في جميع محاور وفقرات الاستبانة عالية ما يدل أنّ لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي دوراً فاعلاً حيث كان المتوسط العام لكل فقرات الاستبان3,93 ويعد عالياً ، كما كانت استجابات المعلمين والمعلمات في محوري التخطيط وتبادل الخبرات أعلى حيث كان المتوسط 4,04 بينما جاء محور التنفيذ في الدرجة الثانية حيث كان المتوسط 3,86 وفي الأخير جاء محور التقويم بمتوسط 3,78، كما حصلت وسيلة التواصل الاجتماعي الواتس آب على أعلى نسبة في الاستخدام والفاعلية حيث بلغت 66% ،كما أوصت بالاهتمام بوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي بين الطالب والمعلم وتدريب المعلمين والمعلمات على الاستفادة من كافة الوسائل ، وتحفيز من لديهم الاهتمام باستخدام التقنية ووسائل التواصل في تطوير مهاراتهم. The study aimed to identify the role of social media in the development of teaching practices for intermediate and secondary mathematics' teachers in the management of education in Sabia in their opinion, in which the researcher used the descriptive method and the instrument is a questionnaire consisting of four parts: ( teaching practices-lesson planning teaching practices- implementation of lesson- teaching practices- the lesson evaluation - the exchange of expertise) The sample of the study are (115) male and female teachers. Where the study found that the results in all parts and questionnaire were high which is an evidence that the practices of social media is an active role where the overall average for each part of the questionnaire is (3.93) and that is high. Also the teachers' answers in both parts of planning and exchanging expertise is high where the mean is (4.04), while the implementing part is the second highest where the mean is (3.86), at last the evaluation part has (3.78), and in the practises of social media the What'sApp has the highest percentage in usage and activity where it has 66%, the study recommended the need of social media practices between teachers and students and training teachers to obtain the advantages of all practices, and encourage who has the interest of using the technology and the social practices to develop their skills.
