The current research aims to know the effect of collaborative inquiry in the collection of reading material to students of science departments Quran and Islamic education. Facing the students in the department science Quran difficulties in the subject of reading, especially school students the second of them than the recitation of the Quran, especially the provisions of the recitation, and this is indicated by the many local studies, so I felt the researcher that there is a need to conduct a study on this aspect (after survey cooperative) in a substance reading using the survey method Aaltaaona in teaching, and for this reason was the goal of the current search is: know the effect of collaborative inquiry in the collection of reading material to students of science departments Quran and Islamic education. Through verification of the following hypothesis: there is no difference statistically significant at the level of (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who study reading material according to the method of collaborative inquiry and the average degree of the control group students who are studying the same article according to the usual way. Were selected science Department Koran / College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Diyala because of knowledge of the researcher prior managed as a working teaching it, was the research sample (60) students by (30) students in the experimental group which studied students material recitation using survey cooperative, and (25) students in the control group, who studied the same material studied using the traditional method. Rewarded the researcher between the two students in a number of changes including (chronological age, educational attainment of parents, and degree of reading material for the previous year). And then provide the prerequisites for applied research experience, as the researcher taught two sets of research by himself in the second semester of the academic year (2011- 2012). Having identified the scientific material, which included the topics contained in the vocabulary of reading material for the second phase / Koran science department. The results indicate the superiority of the experimental group which studied the scientific concepts using a survey to members of the cooperative control group which studied the same concepts using the usual method through the result reached by the researcher concluded the following: 1) there is a need at the second stage students / science department Quran recitation in substance to the modern methods of teaching collaborative inquiry. 2) The teaching of reading for the second phase using a collaborative survey of the best teaching in the traditional way. In light of this, the researcher recommended the need to inform teachers of reading material and to the survey Madrsadtha cooperative and steps for use when teaching reading for students of the second phase. The study concluded with a number of proposals and recommendations. (Published abstract)
