The main aim of the present study was to determine The relative contributions of neurotic perfectionism and dysfunctional beliefs in Predicting of religious alienation for secondary schools Students, as well as determine the correlations among Religious alienation, Neurotic Perfectionism and Dysfunctional Beliefs, and comparison between those with high levels and those with low levels of neurotic perfectionism and dysfunctional beliefs variables in religious alienation. The study sample consisted of 246 students from the high school students of Nasser Secondary School For Boys in Kom Hamada, and Kom Hamada Secondary School for Girls. The study included the following tools: religious alienation scale: prepared by the researcher. neurotic perfectionism scale : prepared by (Samia Mohammed Saber Abdul Nabi, 2010). dysfunctional beliefs scale: prepared by the researcher. The study is based on descriptive and analytical approach and a number of statistical methods such as regression analysis, analysis of variance, correlation coefficient, and test "T". The study found a range of results, including: There are a positive significant correlation between religious alienation and neurotic perfectionism among a sample of high school students. There are a positive significant correlation between religious alienation and dysfunctional beliefs among a sample of high school students. Neurotic perfectionism contributed in predicting of religious alienation among a sample of high school students. Dysfunctional beliefs contributed in predicting of religious alienation among a sample of high school students. There are significant differences between those with high levels and those with low levels of neurotic perfectionism in religious alienation. There are significant differences between those with high levels and those with low levels of dysfunctional beliefs in religious alienation. (Published abstract)
