The current study aims to investigate the effect of a training program based upon some dimensions of emotional intelligence in enhancing leadership skills among students at the College of Education. The study sample consisted of (30) students from the faculty of education, Al-Azhar university. They were divided into two groups: the first is the experimental group, including (15) students, and the second is the control group including (15) students. The researcher developed and administrated two scales of leadership skills and emotional intelligence. The training program consists of (17) training sessions, including the pre and post assessment sessions. The study results revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and those of the control group in leadership skills scale in favor of the experimental group. In addition, there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre-assessment and those of the post-assessment in leadership skills scale in favor of the post-assessment session. Finally, the researchers developed some recommendations and future studies in light of results of the current study. (Published abstract)
