تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن أثر التنشئة الاجتماعية على كل من مفهوم الذات والكفاءة الاجتماعية لدى طلبة جامعة فيلادلفيا. وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع طلبة جامعة فيلادلفيا في العام الدراسي 2015- 2016. أما عينة الدراسة فقد تم اختيارها باستخدام طريقة العينة القصدية، حيث قامت الباحثة بتوزيع كل من مقياس أنماط التنشئة الاجتماعية، ومقياس مفهوم الذات، ومقياس الكفاءة الاجتماعية على جميع شعب طلبة مادتي علم النفس، وفكر وحضارة في العام الدراسي 2015-2016، إذ تضم هذه المواد طلبة من مختلف كليات الجامعة. وللإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة تم إجراء المعالجات الإحصائية الآتية: النسب المئوية لخصائص عينة الدراسة، وتحليل التباين الأحادي واختبار شيفيه، ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون. وقد أشارت النتائج إلى وجود علاقة قوية للنمط الديمقراطي للتنشئة الأسرية وبين حصول الطلبة على علامة مرتفعة على مقياس كل من مفهوم الذات، والكفاءة الاجتماعية لدى طلبة جامعة فيلادلفيا، ووجود علاقة قوية بين نمط التنشئة الاجتماعية السلبية (التسلط والإهمال) ومفهوم الذات المتدني لدى طلبة جامعة فيلادلفيا وعدم الكفاءة الاجتماعية، كما توصلت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى مفهوم الذات، والكفاءة الاجتماعية يُعزى إلى نمط التنشة الاجتماعية. وأوصت الدراسة بعمل برامج إرشاد أسري وإرشاد زواجي للمقبلين على الزواج، والأسر التي تنتظر مواليد جدد، إذ تتطلع هذه البرامج إلى توعيتهم بأثر التنشئة الاجتماعية وأسلوب التربية على الأبناء. This study aimed at examining the effect of social raising on self-concept and the social competency with the students of the Faculty of Literature and Arts at Philadelphia University. The population of the study consisted of all students of Philadelphia University for the academic years 2015- 2016, whereas the sample was chosen by the intentional method. The researcher distributed the measures of social raising patterns, self- co0ncept and the measure of social competency on the students of psychology and though and civilization courses during the academic years 2015- 2016 (N= 500 students, males and females in all classes). These courses include students from different faculties at the University. In order to answer the questions of the study, the researcher used the following statistical methods: percentages, uni-variance analysis, Chevete test and Pearson relational factor. The results showed a strong significant relationship between the democratic pattern of social raising and the student's having high grade on the self- concept and social competency measures with the students of Philadelphia University. In addition, there was a strong relationship between the negative social raising (autocratic, negligence, extreme protection, differentiation and vibrations), the low self- concept and non-social competence with the students Philadelphia University. Moreover, the results showed significant statistical differences in the level of self- concept and the social competency which are attributed to the pattern of social raising. The study recommended to conduct a family counseling program as well as a counseling one for those who intend to marry, not to forget the families who are waiting new infants, with an objective to educate them about the effects of social raising and the method of education on the children.
