The purpose of the study is to investigate the attitudes of social responsibility course students at King Faisal University towards voluntary work, as well as exploring the difficulties that they face in practicing it. The sample of the study consisted of (753) male students studying in the first semester of 2017-2018. To achieve the aim of the study a questionnaire was developed and validity as well as reliability were checked, the questionnaire consisted of (33) items distributed into three domains: objective of voluntary work and its importance, fields of voluntary work and the difficult ties facing students. The findings of the study were as follows: 1) The attitudes of students at King Faisal University were high towards voluntary work. 2) The most important difficulties faced by students are; the contradiction between the time of the voluntary work with study time, the weak economic status of some students' families and the shortage in the courses contribution regarding the preparation of students' leaders leading voluntary work. 3) There were significant statistical differences at the level of (α =0.05) attributed to College variable on the domain of voluntary work. 4) There were no significant statistical differences at the level of (α =0.05) attributed to family members number on the fields of voluntary work domain and in the total degree. Based on the findings the researcher presented several recommendations. (Published abstract)
