The research aimed to find out the effectiveness of Bybee's constructivist model on developing the listening comprehension skills of sixth grade female students in Riyadh. To achieve the objectives of the research both descriptive and quasi-experimental approaches were used, where the researcher designed a note card for the listening comprehension skills, and a proposed program based on Bybee's constructivist model. The research sample included (68) female students in the sixth grade in primary 227 school in Riyadh, the sample divided into two groups; the control group (34 students) studied in the usual way, and the experimental group (34 students) studied using the proposed teaching program based Bybee's constructivist model. The experiment lasted (5) weeks. Findings of the research were as follows: 1) there are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.50) between the experimental and control groups according to skill to distinguish between right and wrong as you hear the ideas and compositions. 2) There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.50) between the experimental and control groups according to the skill of linking between cause and effect in the listened text favoring the experimental group. 3) There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.50) between the experimental and control groups according to the skill of expanding an idea listened to (explain, representation, demonstrate) favoring the experimental group. 4) There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.50) between the experimental and control groups according to the skill of the impact of values (positive, negative) on her and on the community, caused by which she listened to. 5) There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.50) between the experimental and control groups according to the skill of distinguish between facts and opinions as she listened to favoring the experimental group. 6) There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.50) between the experimental and control groups according to the skill of extracting facts and information while she listen in favor of the experimental group.
