The research aims to identify the reality of virtual communities role in moral values development, and the obstacles that may limit this role's activation from the perspective of Qassim University students. The research used the descriptive approach, by distributing a questionnaire to a sample of students enrolled in the faculties of Sharia and Islamic Studies, Education, Computer Science, Human Medicine Buraidah. it includes tow axes, the first axis is study the reality of the role of virtual communities in the development of moral values from Al-Qassim University students viewpoint in six dimensions (social values, religious, economic, aesthetic, political, intellectual), and the second axis studied the obstacles that may limit the activation of the role of virtual communities in the development of moral values from the viewpoint of Al-Qassim University students. The sample has reached (361) students. The research found many results, highlighted by: 1) The reality of the role of virtual communities in the aesthetic dimension of moral values development was very much from the perspective of students Qassim University. 2) The reality of virtual communities role in moral values development in its dimensions (social, religious, economic, political, and intellectual) was largely from the perspective of Qassim University students. 3) The reality of virtual communities role in moral values development from the viewpoint of Qassim University students was significantly (in terms of resolution as a whole). See a sample of students from the University of Qassim that the obstacles that may limit the role of virtual communities in moral values development from their perspective was significantly reduced.
