This research aimed to investigate the learning outcomes of laboratory work in the Science Faculty in light of national qualifications framework for higher education, as commonly discussed in the science education literature. In order to achieving the object of this research, its methodology consisted of three levels. First level, identification and classification of the learning outcomes in laboratory work in the light of learning domains through utalizating research tool ( questionnaire) based on the national qualifications framework for higher education. Second level, determining the validity and reliability of the research tool by using transaction Gronbach α to insure that it has good validity, reliability, and adaptability to different environments. Third level, conducing a pilot test. The research tool was applied to (42) students of the Faculty of science at Yanbu branch during the first semester of the academic year (1436-1437 HJ). After conducting the aim of this study, the research tool had achived the intended that investigating the learning outcomes of laboratory work that identified in the of national qualifications framework for higher education. The research recommendations were: conducting similar studies in different environments, using larger sample, taking into account all possible learning outcomes that laboratory work may includ, such as the impact of specialization and academic level and gender.
