The study aimed to identify the extent of the 21st century skills included in the developed science course for the first intermediate level in Saudi Arabia. To achieve this goal, the researcher used a descriptive and analytical approach that has been applied through the analysis tool which was modified by the researcher. The tool contained seven dimensions, which are: critical thinking-problem solving, innovation-creativity, cooperation-team work, leadership, understanding multi cultures, information technology-communication culture, and professionalism-self-learning. The sample of the study represented six developed science books for the first intermediate level for the two semesters of 1436-1437 Hijri. To analysis the data the researcher used: frequencies, percentage, and means. For the validity, Hampelton equation was applied (Hampelton. 1979). To calculate the stability, the re-test method (test - retest) and coefficient (alpha Cronbach) was applied. The findings of the study showed that the developed science course included a low 21st century skills with a percentage of 22.86% whereas the courses included 0% of life skills. The researcher recommended the importance of reconsidering developed science course for the intermediate level to include the 21st century skills in a way to achieve the principle of continuity and integration which prepares an individual for the developments and changes.
