هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى الحرية الأكاديمية في بعض الجامعات الفلسطينية بمحافظات غزة، ولتحقيق ذلك استخدمت الباحثتان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع الأكاديميين من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية في الجامعات الفلسطينية، (الأزهر-الأقصى-الإسلامية)، بمحافظات غزة ، وبلغت عينة الدراسة(180) عضواً، بنسبة (16.7%)، وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة: أن درجة تقدير أفراد العينة لمستوى الحرية الأكاديمية في بعض الجامعات الفلسطينية بمحافظات غزة، جاء بدرجة موافقة كبيرة، بوزن نسبي (74.20%)، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائياً، لصالح الجامعة الإسلامية، ومتغير المؤهل العلمي، لصالح (دكتوراه فأعلى)، باستثناء ما يتعلق بمجال (حرية التعبير عن الرأي)، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائياً تعزى لمتغير سنوات الخدمة لصالح (10 سنوات فأكثر)، باستثناء ما يتعلق بمجالي (حرية المشاركة في الإدارة وصنع القرار الجامعي، حرية التعبير عن الرأي)، وأوصت الدراسة: بتركيز إدارة الجامعات على إشراك أعضاء هيئة التدريس، في صنع القرار الجامعي، بما يعزز لديهم قيم الحرية الأكاديمية. The study aimed to identify the level of academic freedom in some Palestinian universities in Gaza governorates. In order to achieve this, the two researchers used the analytical descriptive approach. The study community consisted of all academic staff members of the Palestinian universities (Al-Azhar-Al-Aqsa-Islamic), in the governorates of Gaza, and the sample of the study (180) members, by (16.7%). The results revealed that the degree of appreciation of the sample of the level of academic freedom in some Palestinian universities in the governorates of Gaza came at a high degree of approval, with a relative weight of (74.20). The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences due in favor of the Islamic University. There were also statistically significant differences due the academic qualification variable in favor of PhD holders, except in the domain of freedom of opinion expression. And the existence of statistically significant differences due to variable years of service in favor of (10 years and more), except in two domains: freedom of participation in administration and decision-making, and freedom of opinion expression. The study recommended. With a focus on the management of universities to involve faculty members in the decision-making of the university in order to enhance the values of academic freedom.
