The objective of this research was to design a strategy based upon cognitive coaching techniques and measure its impact in developing E-teaching design skills and improving educational beliefs towards E-learning among pre-service business education teachers at the colleges of education. To achieve this objective, the researcher applied the procedures of the developmental research methods. To design the suggested strategy, a list of E-instructional situations design skills has been developed. This list included four main skills, they are: Preparing the E-instructional situation, modeling the E-instructional situation, emerging the E-instructional situation, and applying the e-instructional situation. These four main skills have forty sub-skills to be used as instructional indicators for skills acquisition. The researcher also reviewed the foundations of designing instructional situations, models and design principles of cognitive and constructive learning strategies to identify key features of the proposed strategy. The proposed strategy has four main cognitive coaching techniques, they are: planning dialogue, regulatory dialogue, affirmative dialogue, and reflective dialogue. To validate the proposed strategy, the researcher developed three main scales, they are: E-learning integration scale, product assessment rubric card, and educational beliefs towards E-learning scale. After measuring the validity and reliability of these scales, they were applied on two sets of groups: an experimental and a control groups of pre-service business education teachers at the college of education, Tanta University. The results showed that the proposed strategy is effective on developing E-instructional situations design skills and on improving educational beliefs towards E-learning among pre-service business education teachers at the college of education. In the light of these results, the researcher presented a set of educational recommendations and suggestions in this respect.(Published Abstract)
