هدف البحث إلى التعرف على درجة ممارسة المهارات التوجيهية اللازمة للقيادات الأكاديمية لتطبيق الإدارة الإلكترونية بجامعة الملك خالد من وجهة نظر القيادات الأكاديمية. ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وقام الباحث بتصميم أداة البحث (الاستبانة) حيث تكونت من (40) عبارة موزعة على ثلاثة محاور. وتكون مجتمع البحث من (96) قائد أكاديمي بجامعة الملك خالد. وجاء ترتيب المهارات التوجيهية اللازمة للقيادات الأكاديمية لتطبيق الإدارة الإلكترونية بجامعة الملك خالد حسب درجة الممارسة تنازلياً كما يلي: مهارات القيادة اللازمة للقيادات الأكاديمية لتطبيق الإدارة الإلكترونية بمتوسط حسابي، مهارات التحفيز اللازمة للقيادات الأكاديمية لتطبيق الإدارة الإلكترونية، مهارات الاتصال اللازمة لتطبيق الإدارة الإلكترونية. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج، قدم الباحث عددا من التوصيات، أهمها: 1) نشر ثقافة الإدارة الإلكترونية بين القادة الأكاديميين بالجامعة. 2) تشجيع القيادات الأكاديمية على المشاركة في الندوات والمؤتمرات العلمية داخليا وخارجيا. 3) زيادة وعي القيادات الاكاديمية بأهمية امتلاك المهارات التوجيهية اللازمة لتطبيق الإدارة الإلكترونية بالجامعة. 4) إعداد برامج تدريبية تسهم في امتلاك القيادات الأكاديمية للمهارات التوجيهية اللازمة لتطبيق الإدارة الإلكترونية. 5) وضع نظام حوافز للقيادات الأكاديمية المتميزة في الإدارة الإلكترونية لزيادة فعالية ونجاح تطبيق الإدارة الإلكترونية بالجامعة. 6) ربط العلاوة السنوية للقيادات الأكاديمية بتميزهم وحرصهم على تفعيل الإدارة الإلكترونية بالجامعة. واقترح الباحث: إجراء دراسة بعنوان تصور مقترح لتفعيل المهارات التوجيهية اللازمة للقيادات الأكاديمية لتطبيق الإدارة الإلكترونية بجامعة الملك خالد، وإجراء دراسة بعنوان المهارات الإدارية اللازمة لتطبيق الإدارة الإلكترونية بالجامعات السعودية. The study aims at identifying the level of the practice of the guiding skills necessary for academic leaders for the application of e-administration at King Khalid University in from the academic leaders' point of view. To achieve the research objectives researcher used the descriptive analytical approach. He designed the research instrument (questionnaire) that consisted of (40) items divided into three axes. The research community consisted of (96) academic leader at King Khalid University. Out of the (96) questionnaire distributed on the community, (78) have been returned. The research instrument was applied during the first semester of the academic year 1433 - 1434 ah. To analyze data, the researcher used SPSS for calculating the frequencies, percentages, and averages, and the analysis of bilateral variance. The research came up with a number of findings the major ones are as follows: the guiding skills, in general, was "medium", a mean hit (2.21). The guiding skills necessary for academic leaders for the application of e-administration at King Khalid University can be arranged on the basis of the level of practice, in a descending order, as follows: the leadership skills necessary for academic leaders for the application of e-administration with the average of (2.25), communication skills necessary for academic leaders for the application of e-administration with the average of (2.20), and the stimulus skills necessary for academic leaders for the application of e-administration with the average of (2.19). The research found out that there is no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) among the averages of responses of the members of the research community on the guiding skills necessary for academic leaders for the application of e-administration on the basis of the variables 'degree' and 'administrative function'. In the light of these findings, the researcher recommended the following: 1) spreading the culture of e-administration among the university academic leaders. 2) Encouraging academic leaders to participate in seminars and scientific conferences both internally and externally. 3) Increasing the awareness of academic leaders of the importance of owning the guiding skills necessary for the application of e-administration at the university. 4) Preparing training programs that help academic leaders to possess the guiding skills necessary for the application of e-administration. 5) Developing a system of incentives for outstanding academic leaders in e-administration to increase the effectiveness and success of the application of e-administration at the university. 6) Linking annual increase for academic leaders to their distinctiveness and eagerness to activate the e-administration at the university. The researcher suggested the following topics to be researched: proposed ideation for the activation of the guiding skills necessary for academic leaders for the implementation of e-administration at king khalid university, 'guiding skills necessary for academic leaders for the implementation of e-administration at Saudi universities".
