The main aim of the current study is to identify the fact of current change in the educational practices of “Tatweer” school in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia as one of the important developmental projects. It is also concerned with reveling the range of consistency of the educational practices in this developmental model along with what has been planned from the point of view of the owners or the beneficiaries and their standing position of the current changed or developed process. Another goal of this study is to investigate the most positive features of that experiment as well as highlighting the obstacles that can prevent achieving the desired goals. The study used the descriptive analytical method, adopted the method of focusing groups and used the scientific observation as the measuring method. In addition to that, this study revealed the real life experience from the owners and the beneficiates’ (students and teachers) point of view .in this case, a random sample was chosen from “Tatweer" experimental school; (3) from the female section schools out of a total number (25) schools, these three schools contained (94) people; (41) of teachers and observers and (53) students. The results of this study revealed that the change in the current educational practices is not up to the hoped level and it did not consist with the planned goals. Moreover, the results showed that the project “Tatweer” faced a lot of obstacles and difficulties that were related to the individuals or to the whole developmental processes and that could likely happen with many other developmental projects. For instance, there were some teachers resisted the change and lacked of the scientific efficiency as well as the required skills which were needed to activate the modern technology in learning process. It is worthy to mention that the intellectual awareness of some of the teachers was insufficient. Nevertheless, some of the teachers had negative orientation or simply had no interest in developing and changing their current methods of teaching along with the lack of applying modern teaching strategies .one of the most reasons that hindered application of the project as it was planned was that the most of the teachers kept using traditional examination and evaluation methods. One of the last reasons was that the school did not enhance their training programs and did not communicate with the experts and the project managers. However, this experiment reveled of many positive sides of this project such as providing high level techniques, spreading awareness to modern educational trends and concepts inside the community of these schools, changing in the introductory teaching.
