A1 الهاجري، سلوى سعد محمد AB تعد الذات محور الشخصية والجوهر الأساسي في بنائها، والمكون الرئيسي الذي يمكن إرجاع العديد من السلوكيات التي يقوم بها الفرد إليه، ويعد تقدير الذات المحور الأساسي في بناء شخصية الفرد، ولتقدير الذات عدد من المكونات منها المكون الجسمي، والمعرفي، والانفعالي، والاجتماعي، والكفاءة الذاتية، وقيمة الذات، وهناك العديد من العوامل المؤثرة في تقدير الفرد لذاته، ومنها نمط الرعاية الأسرية، والعمر والنوع، والمدرسة، وعوامل تتعلق بالمواقف اليومية، وهناك عدد من المؤشرات السلوكية التي تبين تقدير الذات الإيجابية والسلبية. وقد سعى البحث إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين تقدير الذات والتحصيل الدراسي، ولتحقيق ذلك تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي من خلال الاطلاع على الدراسات السابقة، وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائياً بين تقدير الذات والتحصيل الدراسي لدى الطلبة، وتختلف هذه العلاقة باختلاف الجنس. وقدم البحث إجراءات مقترحة لتطبيق واستخدام إستراتيجيات تقدير الذات مع الطلبة. Self-esteem is the primary axis to get an individual’s personality, and self-esteem has a number of components, including the physical, cognitive, emotional, social components, self-efficacy and self-worth. There are many factors that influence an individual’s self-esteem, including family care style, age, gender, school, and factors arising from current situations. There are a number of behavioral indicators that show positive and negative self-esteem. The research sought to identify the relationship between self-esteem and academic achievement, to achieve this, the descriptive approach was used by reviewing previous studies. The results of the research concluded that there is a statistically significant correlation between self-esteem and academic achievement among students, and this relationship varies according to gender.
