A1 كمبش، ماجدة حميد A2 علي، إسراء فاضل عباس AB By informing the researcher and watching physical education lessons and personal interviews with a number of teachers in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, the research was able to come up with new methods that seek to advance in teaching the physical education lesson that conflict in their style with the traditional formal methods used by most of the teachers in the college. Therefore, the researcher wanted to identify the effect of the method of self-examination in learning the skill of transmitting volleyball among students of the second stage, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Diyala University for the academic year (2020-2021), and is it the traditional formal method or the method of self-examination, which is considered one of the advanced and new educational methods, taking into account the psychological aspect. This is in order to achieve the principle of cooperation by the students in the educational process and to adopt modern methods of learning, as this method gives the learner an attempt to discover and learn the skill in its multiple parts by placing the skill in a paper called (the standards paper, the skill table), and the role of the teacher is determined in Teaching the students by putting questions within the standards paper and asking questions directly after the completion of the education process. The researcher used the experimental method to suit the nature of the research problem. The research community consisted of (86) female students from the second stage of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Diyala for the academic year (2020-2021), divided into two divisions (F, G) with (43) female students for division (F) and (42) female students for division (G), and division (F) was chosen by lottery to represent the group A. For the experimental group and the (g) division of the control group, a number of female students were excluded to achieve homogeneity between the two groups, as well as the female students on whom the exploratory experiment was conducted. Thus, the final total of the research sample became (70) students, with (35) students per group.
