A1 الكبيسي، شيماء محمد A2 العمران، جيهان عيسى أبو راشد AB هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن إنماط استخدام وسائل التواصل الجتماعي من قبل عينة من الطالبات في المرحلة الإعدادية بمملكة البحرين، والتعرف على الفروق في استخدام هذه الوسائل وفقاً للصف الدراسي. كما هدفت إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وإبعاد الكفاءة الاجتماعية. ومن أجل تحقيق هذه الأهداف، اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واستخدمت مقياسين من إعداد الباحثتين لجمع البيانات وهما مقياس استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، ومقياس الكفاءة الاجتماعية وتم تطبيق الدراسة على عينة قوامها 240 طالبة في المرحلة الإعدادية تم اختيارها عشوائياً. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج، إهمها إن طالبات الصف الثاني كن الأكثر استخداماً لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، ووجود ارتباط دال سالب بين استخدام الطالبات لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي والكفاءة الاجتماعية أي أنه: كلما زاد استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي قلت كفاءتهن الاجتماعية. (الملخص المنشور) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_ar.gif AB The aim of this study was to identify patterns of social media use and its relationship to social competence among by a sample of female students in the Intermediate Level of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain and to identify the differences in the use of these means according to grade level. In order to achieve these objectives, the study employed the analytical descriptive approach. Two measures were used by the researchers to collect the data: the Scale of Social Media Use and the Scale of Social Competence. The instruments were applied on a randomly selected sample of 240 intermediate school students at the stage of adolescence. The study results found a number of results, the most important of which was the second-grade students were the group that most frequently used means of social media, and that there was a negative significant correlation between students' use of social media and social competence.
