A1 أبو موسى، رنيم A2 الحموري، فراس أحمد AB هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن دور كل من سعة الذاكرة العاملة السمعية، والذاكرة العاملة البصرية، في القدرات ما وراء النحوية، لدى عينة من (134) طالبا وطالبة من طلاب جامعة اليرموك، اختيروا بالطريقة التطوعية من الكليات الإنسانية والعلمية، وذلك باستخدام أربع أدوات قياس؛ اختبار الكلمات عديمة المعنى، لقياس سعة الذاكرة العاملة السمعية، اختبار استدعاء الشكل المختلف، لقياس سعة الذاكرة العاملة البصرية، أما القدرات ما وراء النحوية جرى قياسها باختبار نسخ الخطأ النحوي، بالصورتين السمعية والبصرية. وأشارت النتائج إلى تفوق الطلاب في كل من القدرات ما وراء النحوية السمعية على القدرات ما وراء النحوية البصرية، وكذلك سعة الذاكرة العاملة السمعية على سعة الذاكرة العاملة البصرية، ووجود علاقة ارتباطية ما بين القدرات ما وراء النحوية بصورتيها السمعية والبصرية، وعدم ارتباط نوعي الذاكرة بذلك. وأخيرا، فسرت متغيرات سعة الذاكرة السمعية، وتخصص الطالب وجنسه ما نسبته (16.4%) من التباين في أداء الأفراد على اختبار ما وراء النحو البصري. (الملخص المنشور) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_ar.gif AB The study aims to explore the role of auditory and visual working memory capacity in metasyntactic abilities, among a sample of 134 undergraduate students from the scientific and humanity colleges in Yarmouk University. Participants carried out four tasks: nonword repetition task to measure the auditory working memory capacity, recall the different shape test to measure the visual working memory capacity and error replication task; (copying semantic error) to measure the metasyntactic abilities in visual and auditory tests. The results indicated that the level of the students in both auditory metasyntactic abilities, and working memory capacity were higher than both visual metasyntactic abilities, and working memory capacity, respectively. There were statistically significant relationships between the metasyntactic abilities with both auditory and visual metasyntactic abilities. Finally, the results indicated that auditory working memory capacity, college type and gender, explained (16.4%) in the variance of visual metasyntactic ability.
