A1 كريشان، سليمان عطية محمود AB The study aimed to identify the extent to which Arabic language teachers employ creative thinking strategies and the difficulties of employing them from the teachers' perspective in Ma'an Governorate. To achieve these goals, the descriptive analysis method was used. The researcher developed a questionnaire consisting of two areas; The extent to which teachers of the Arabic language employ creative thinking strategies and the second area is the difficulties of employing creative thinking strategies. It included (42) paragraphs, and its validity and reliability were confirmed. The study sample consisted of (027) Arabic language teachers from Ma'an Governorate. The results of the study concluded that the degree of employing Arabic language teachers of creative thinking strategies came to a large degree and that the difficulties of employing Arabic language teachers of creative thinking strategies came to a moderate degree from the teachers' point of view themselves. Based on the results reached, the researcher recommends training programs for Arabic language teachers during service to provide them with the skills to develop creative thinking. These programs should be designed according to philosophies and approaches that have proven effective in developing teachers' performance in developing thinking skills.
