A1 عودة، زياد حمد الله محمد AB The study aimed to reveal the degree of public-school principals' practice of smart accountability and its relationship to achieving institutional excellence from the teacher’s point of view in the Zarqa city. The researcher used the descriptive survey method. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher built and prepared the scale. The study sample consisted of (550) male and female teachers in public schools for the academic year (2023-2022). The results of the study indicated that the degree of school principals' practice of smart accountability was medium, and that the field of institutional excellence came to a high degree. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of principals’ practice of smart accountability and the level of institutional excellence due to gender, and years of experience. The results showed that there is a strong correlation between the field of smart accountability and institutional excellence from the viewpoint of public-school teachers in the Zarqa city.
