The study followed a descriptive approach. A total of (100) mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder were involved in the study sample, which was selected randomly, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a scale of behavioral problems in its final form consisting of (43) items distributed on three dimensions. The results of the study showed that behavioral issues came to a moderate degree, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample members on the scale of behavioral problems according to the variable years of enrollment in Qatari care institutions in the areas: (Problems related to communication and social interaction and issues belong to stereotypical and routine behaviors) and on the total score, moreover the results showed that there were statistically significant differences on the field (problems related to aggressive behavior) for the age of five years or more. The study endorsed some recommendations, most notably holding awareness and counseling sessions for mothers of children with an autism spectrum disorder and the family on behavior toward their behavioral problems.
