A1 الحياصات، إخلاص محمد AB The study aimed to identify the degree to which government school principals in the capital Amman governorate practice distributive leadership and its relationship to the morale of teachers. The study used the descriptive correlative method, and two tools were developed for the study: the distributive leadership questionnaire, and the morale questionnaire, the study sample consisted of (250) female teachers from government schools in the Capital Governorate of Amman, who were chosen by the random method. The results showed that the degree of distributive leadership practice by government school principals in the capital Amman governorate was medium, and that the level of morale among government school teachers in the capital Amman governorate was medium, and the results indicated that there was a positive, statistically significant correlation between the degree of practicing distributive leadership. Principals of government schools in the capital Amman governorate for distributive leadership and the level of morale of teachers, the study recommended the need for government school principals to strengthen distributive leadership practices and to avoid traditional leadership patterns, and the need for officials and decision-makers in the Ministry of Education to hold training courses for principals to train them on ways to employ distributive leadership practices.
