A1 الوريكات، فايز عبد الكريم AB The study aimed to identify the effect of an educational program based on a fair inquiry strategy in developing critical reading skills for ninth grade students in public schools in Jordan. The research sample included (100) students from the ninth-grade students in the capital, Amman, during the first semester of the academic year (2021-2022), they were divided into an experimental group (50) students and a control group (50) students. The research tool included a critical reading skills test. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the two study groups in the critical reading test in the post application and in favor of the experimental group. In light of the results, the researcher made a number of recommendations, including: The necessity of using lessons in the light of a fair inquiry strategy in teaching Arabic language ninth grade students.
