A1 محارمه، سهام محمود AB The study sought to identify the impact of the Reading and Arithmetic Initiative for Early Grades (RAMP) on the teacher’s teaching efficiency and the achievement of the first three grades students in Liwa al-Muwaqar schools from the teachers’ point of view. The study sample consisted of (140) male and female teachers from the Al-Muwaqar area. The participants were chosen by the comprehensive sample method, and two questionnaires (the teacher’s teaching competency questionnaire and the students’ achievement questionnaire) that have been developed to achieve the objectives of the study. The results showed that the level of impact of the reading and arithmetic initiative for early grades on the teacher’s teaching efficiency from the teachers’ point of view was high, and the level of the effect of the reading and arithmetic initiative for early grades on student achievement from the teachers’ point of view was also high. In addition, the results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in teachers' expectations about the impact of the initiative on both the teacher's teaching efficiency and student achievement due to gender and educational experience. The study recommended conducting more research on the study variables, and conducting empirical studies on the impact of the initiative on teachers who works in private and public schools from different regions of the Hashemite Kingdom.
