A1 أبو هلال، سجى سليم AB This study aimed to discover the degree of satisfaction of special education teachers with the participation of families of developmentally delayed children in the early intervention program and the role of their participation in the quality of the educational process. The study sample consisted of (73) male and female teachers of special education in four schools in the capital, Amman. A questionnaire of the degree of satisfaction of special education teachers, consisting of (08) items, and a questionnaire of the role of families’ participation in the quality of education which consist of (18) items were used, and the validity and reliability of the study tools were verified. The study results unveiled that degree of satisfaction of special education teachers with the participation of families of developmentally delayed children in the early intervention program was middle, that the role of the participation of families of developmentally delayed children in the quality of the educational process was great, and there is a strong positive relationship between the degree of satisfaction of special education teachers with the participation of families of developmentally delayed children in the early intervention program and the role of the participation of families of delayed children in the quality of the educational process. The researcher recommended the participation of families of children with developmental delayed in building individual plans for their children.
