A1 عنوز، أسامة محمد A2 مطاحن، سليم محمد AB The study aimed to know the effect of voluntary silence on social efficiency of first basic stage students in government schools affiliated to the capital governorate from the teachers' point of view, and this was measured by building a scale of the impact of voluntary silence on social efficiency, distributed on three basic dimensions, namely: relationships skills social interaction with others, self-management skills, and study skills. And the psychometric properties of the scale were verified by presenting it to 10 arbitrators with expertise and competence, and the number of the study sample was 447 for the first basic stage, and they were chosen by random method for independent samples, where the results showed that the average effect of voluntary silence on social competence among students of the first basic stage came at an average level, which amounted to (3.15), and there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a=0.05) according to the gender variable in favor of males, nor there are statistically significant differences according to the grade variable.
