A1 تركستاني، مريم حافظ عمر A2 تركستاني، مريم حافظ عمر AB The study aimed at determining the required competencies for deaf blind students' teachers from the prospective on (196) faculty member of special education departments in Saudi government universities and that is through identifying the most important knowledge competencies, teaching competencies, personal competencies and professional competences. Also, the study aimed to reveal the level of the importance of these competencies in relation to the variables of experience, minor specialization and gender in the sample of study. To achieve this aim, the researcher used a descriptive method through using an instrument which consists of two domains: the basic information of the respondents and the competencies involved in the study. The result showed equal importance of all the competencies: knowledge competencies, teaching competencies, personal qualities competencies and professional competences. In addition, results indicate that there are no statically significant differences at the (α = 0.05) level from the prospective of the study sample in the relation between the importance of the competencies and the variables of experience, minor specialization and gender (166 words).
