A1 محمد، كريمة محمود AB The aim of the current research is to identify the effect of the interaction between the visual stimulus pattern (static - moving) and the cognitive style (analytical - holistic) in the augmented reality environment, and to measure the effect of the interaction on some technological skills of mentally Educable Mentally Handicapped students. The research tools consisted of a scale for the Cognitive style to classify students as individuals in the sample, an achievement test to measure the cognitive aspect, and a note card to measure the skillful performance of technological skills, and the research. sample was selected (50) students from mentally Educable Mentally Handicapped students of the first, second and third preparatory grades, whose ages were between (12-19 years), And their intelligence level (55-64 degrees) from the students of the Model Center for Intellectual Education, Ain Shams Educational Administration in the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020.The sample was divided according to the cognitive style (analytical - holistic) according to the style of the stimulus the search tools were applied according to the global experimental design 2 × 2. The results of the research resulted in the presence of statistically significant differences between the four experimental groups in the degrees of the post application of the test of cognitive achievement. And The observation in favor of the moving visual stimulus pattern, and for the overall cognitive style, While there were no statistically significant differences for the visual stimulus pattern (static / moving) and the cognitive style (analytical / all) in the augmented reality environment due to the effect of the interaction between them. The research recommended the need to employ augmented reality techniques in the curricula of students with mental disabilities who are able to learn.
