A1 العليان، عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن A2 العبد الكريم، صالح بن عبد الله محمد AB هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستويات مهارات التفكير ما وراء المعرفي لدى طلاب قسم الفيزياء بجامعة الملك سعود. لتحقيق ذلك اعتمد الباحثان المنهج الوصفي المسحي لإجرائه على عينة الدراسة المكونة من (102) طالبا. استخدم الباحثان الاستبانة أداة للدراسة، وتم التأكد من صدق الأداة، وثباتها. أشارت النتائج إلى انخفاض مستوى مهارات التفكير ما وراء المعرفي لدى طلاب قسم الفيزياء بجامعة الملك سعود؛ إذ وقع في فئة (المنخفض)؛ وذلك بمتوسط حسابي (1.47) وبانحراف معياري (0.42). وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة، توصل الباحثان إلى توصيات؛ كالعمل على إعادة صياغة الأهداف التعليمية في مقررات الفيزياء، وإضافة عناصر للتفكير من صور، وأنشطة في مقررات الفيزياء؛ لتنمية مهارات التفكير ما وراء المعرفي. To this end, the two researchers adopted the descriptive survey method in the research sample that consists of (102) students. They used a questionnaire as a research tool, and the validity and reliability of the tool are verified. The findings show that the students have a low level of metacognitive thinking skills as they ranked “low” with an arithmetic mean (1.47) and a standard deviation (0.42). Based on these findings, the two researchers put forward some suggestions, including re-setting teaching objectives in physics curricula and adding elements of thinking that contain images and activities in physics curricula in order to develop metacognitive thinking skills.
