A1 الشهراني، عبير سعيد عبد اللطيف AB هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن درجة توافر متطلبات الثقافة العلمية في كتب العلوم بالصف الثالث المتوسط بالمملكة العربية السعودية، ووضع تصور مقترح لتطوير مقرر العلوم بالصف الثالث المتوسط بالمملكة العربية السعودية في ضوء متطلبات الثقافة العلمية. استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واشتملت عينة الدراسة على كتب العلوم المقررة على الصف الثالث المتوسط بالمملكة العربية السعودية بصفوفها الثلاثة للعام الدراسي (2023-2024م). تمثلت أداة الدراسة في بطاقة تحليل محتوى كتب العلوم بالصف الثالث المتوسط في ضوء متطلبات الثقافة العلمية، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج عدة، أهمها: تضمين الأبعاد الرئيسة لمتطلبات الثقافة العلمية في كتب العلوم بالصف الثالث المتوسط بنسب متفاوتة، وغير متوازنة؛ حيث جاء إجمالي متوسط نسبة توافر متطلب المعرفة العلمية الأساسية (52.3%)، عند مستوى توافر مرتفع، وجاء متوسط نسبة توافر متطلب عمليات العلم، وممارستها في حل المشكلات (43.45%)، عند مستوى توافر متوسط، ثم جاء متوسط نسبة توافر متطلب البيئة وكيفية التعامل معها (2.55%)، عند مستوى توافر منخفض. وأخيرا جاء متوسط نسبة توافر متطلب قضايا التفاعل بين العلم والتكنولوجيا والمجتمع (1.7%)، عند مستوى توافر منخفض، وتم وضع تصور مقترح لتطوير مقرر العلوم للصف الثالث المتوسط في ضوء متطلبات الثقافة العلمية، وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة إعادة النظر في محتوى كتب العلوم بالصف الثالث المتوسط وأنشطتها، وإثرائها بمتطلبات الثقافة العلمية بدرجات متوازنة، لأهميتها كمرحلة تعليمية مؤهلة للمرحلة الثانوية. (الملخص المنشور) http://search.shamaa.org/abstract_ar.gif AB The study aimed to identify the extent to which the requirements of scientific culture are available in the science textbooks for the third-grade intermediate school in Saudi Arabia and to develop a proposed plan to enhance the science curriculum for the third-grade intermediate school in Saudi Arabia in light of scientific cultural requirements. The study used a descriptive-analytical approach, and the sample included science textbooks prescribed for the third-grade intermediate school in Saudi Arabia during the academic year 2023-2024. The study instruments included a content analysis card for science textbooks for the intermediate stage in light of scientific cultural requirements. The results of the study revealed that the inclusion degree of the main dimensions of the requirements of scientific culture in science textbooks for the third-grade intermediate school was varied and unbalanced. The total average availability rate of the basic scientific knowledge requirement was (52.3%), at a high level of availability. The average availability rate of the scientific operations and problem-solving requirement was (43.45%), at a moderate level of availability. The average availability rate of the environment and how to deal with its requirement was (2.55%), at a low level of availability. Finally, the average availability rate of the issues of interaction between science, technology, and society requirement was (1.7%), at a low level of availability. A proposed plan was developed to enhance the science curriculum for the third-grade intermediate school in light of scientific cultural requirements. The study recommended reconsidering the content of science textbooks for the third-grade intermediate school and its activities, enriching them with scientific cultural requirements to balanced degrees, given their importance as a qualified educational stage for the secondary stage.
