The research problem was: 1) The poor level of children in reading and writing skills. 2) The need of children in kindergarten to develop reading and writing skills. 3) The necessity of developing audio/ visual awareness among kindergarten children. The problem was addressed by answering the following questions: 1) What are the readiness skills to learn reading and writing that should be developed for kindergarten children? 2) What is the level of kindergarten children in relation to readiness to learn to read and write? 3) What is the suggested scenario for using digital stories in developing readiness to learn reading and writing for kindergarten children? 4) What is the potential pf the proposed scenario for developing readiness to learn reading and writing among kindergarten children? In answering the research questions, the researchers used the following tools: 1) Both lists of reading and writing skills for kindergarten children (5-6). 2) Both reading and writing tests for kindergarten children from (5-6). 3) Preparing a perception of using digital stories to develop the skills of readiness to lean reading and writing among kindergarten children then preparing the teacher's guide.
