A1 الموسى، غادة عبد الرحمن AB This study was conducted with the aim of identifying the impact of the application of field training in the digital environment during the COVID-19 pandemic on the academic performance of the student teacher in the Department of Early Childhood. The sample of the study consisted of 41 female students studying the field training course in the Department of Early Childhood at King Saud University. To achieve the objectives, the study adopted the current procedural curriculum, prepared to measure the impact of training in the digital environment on the academic performance of the student-teacher in the Department of Childhood based on three aspects: the core of the basic competences of the early childhood teacher, 21st century skills, and information technology skills. After analyzing the data, the results of the study indicated the positive impact of the application of field training in the digital environment on level of the performance of female students academically. Average survey scores indicated that the highest approval grades from the students were to digital information with an approval rate of (2.70), followed by 21st century skills with an approval rate of (2.51), and finally to the core of the basic competences of the early childhood teacher with an approval rate of (2.42). Based on the results, the study suggested several recommendations, including: designing university education programs that combine e-learning with real learning, and establishing an early childhood education center that is built at the highest educational levels under the supervision of the university.
