A1 السهيمي، أحمد عطية أحمد AB The study aimed to reveal the effect of using an electronic portfolio in the achievement of second intermediate grade students of the seventh unit (unit 7 daily life) in the English language textbook in Qunfudah. The study has used a quasi - experimental approach where thirty (30) students we selected as a central group and were taught by using the traditional audio- visual aids (marker and board). The experimental group consisted of thirty (30) students were taught by using the electronic portfolio. The study also used audio and applied them after measures; the first one consisting of a pre and a post tests, and the second consisting of the attitudes measure which was applied the experimental group . In addition to the study used the T-Test for two confirmed samples in order to detect the effeteness of the program for the experimental group pre and post the application and to identify the significant statistical differences between the two groups. . In addition to the use of T-test, the study used arithmetical averages and standard deviation to identify the degrees of the attitudes of the experimental group of the second grade intermediate students toward s the electronic package. The results of the study were as follows : 1) There are statistically significant differences between the two groups , the control group and the experimental group in the dimensional measurement in the achievement test scores together with levels of achievement , knowledge and cognition among the second –grade intermediate students in the city of Qunfudah in the interest of the experimental group which was taught by using the electronic package except for the level of analysis which didn’t' show differences between the two groups . 2) There are statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-measures in the interest of the experimental group level of the knowledge as well as the total achievement test in the interest of the posttest except for the level of analysis 3) The attitudes of the average second grade students towards the electronic bags were mostly high positive. 4) The main recommendation of the study was the encouragement of the use of the electronic bags in teaching and learning English to gain the basic skills in English such as reading, writing and understanding of grammar rules as well as training to understand comprehension passages.
