A1 العلوي، سلمى بنت علي بن حميد AB The study aims to investigate the teachers’ perceptions of the Omar bin Al-Khattab Institute for the Blind about employing cloud computing applications in teaching and carrying out homework. The study employed the qualitative approach and collected information through semi-structured interviews with (40) teachers. After analyzing the data, the responses were classified into six main categories, from which a number of secondary categories emerged, and each category included specific perceptions centered around: 1) Cloud computing applications, in terms of the knowledge of the teachers of the Bin Al-Khattab Institute for the Blind about cloud computing applications, 2) the benefits of employing applications Cloud computing in teaching, 3) the teaching practices of the institute’s teachers related to employing cloud computing applications, 4) employing these applications in carrying out homework, 5) the challenges of employing these applications, 6) the training needs needed to employ cloud computing applications in teaching. In light of the results of the study, some recommendations were proposed, the most important of which is finding solutions to the challenges facing the employment of cloud computing applications in the teaching practices of the institute’s teachers, and holding training courses for the institute’s teachers to support them in employing programs and technological applications that enhance and facilitate the learning of blind students, as well as enhance their level of implementation.
