A1 الادلبي، سارة AB The purpose of this research is to know the reality of the application of empowerment at the University of Damascus, with its three dimensions which are the delegation of authority, participation in decision-making and self-motivation, and it aims to know the extent of power and capabilities the university has which enable it to develop the creativity of its faculty members. It was used a sample of (198) teacher in theoretical and applied colleges at Damascus University, number of descriptive and statistical methods were used, which suit the research variables and hypothesis testing, The results indicate that all the dimensions of empowerment have a positive impact on the development of creativity among faculty members at Damascus University, and the effect of delegation of authority is stronger than the rest of the dimensions.
