A1 حرب، ماجد وصفي حرب AB The aim of this study was to investigate the implications of Imaginative Education in language learning. Five types of understanding were explained: Somatic, Mythic, Romantic, Philosophical, and Ironic. Considering these types means moving from conceptual understanding to aesthetical one in teaching Arabic for non-native. Mainly, the study answered the following questions: 1) What are the shortcomings of language conceptual understanding? 2) How to establish imagination-based aesthetical understanding of Arabic for non-native? A critical descriptive method was used.
