And that psychological motives for suicide, economic motives for suicide, and social motives for suicide, explain an amount of (74.90%) the reason for the high rates of suicide from the point of view of Mutah University students, and there are statistically significant differences for the two fields (social motives for suicide and economic motives for suicide) due to gender, and the differences were In favor of males, there were statistically significant differences for the two domains (social motives of suicide) attributable to the college and the differences were in favor of students of scientific colleges, and there were statistically significant differences for the two domains (social motives for suicide and economic suicide motives) due to nationality and the differences were in favor of Jordanian nationality, and there were statistically significant differences For the field (social motives for suicide) the year of study was attributed and the differences were in favor of the fourth year students. The study recommends the need to focus on young people in Jordanian society, through universities, schools and various institutions, by giving seminars, lectures and workshops, and adopting counseling programs on the danger of suicide and its negative repercussions on the individual, family and society.
