A1 ملكاوي، سعاد فايز AB The study aimed to identify the role of school principals in the governorate of Irbid to professionally empower teachers during the Corona pandemic from the teachers' own point of view, and the study used the descriptive and analytical approach, and information was collected through a questionnaire, of which a sample reached (200) male and female teachers, of whom 120 are female teachers. And 80 teachers, and the questionnaire consisted of 25 paragraphs distributed among two areas. The first is the reality of the role of the Ministry of Education in Jordan to professionally empower male and female teachers during the Corona pandemic, and the second field is mechanisms for activating the role of government school principals and principals in the Irbid governorate to professionally empower teachers during the Corona pandemic. The study found many results, including: that the directors and principals of public schools in the governorate of Irbid to professionally empower male and female teachers during the Corona pandemic came to a moderate degree, and the first field of study came, which is the role of public school principals and schools in the Irbid governorate to professionally empower teachers during the Corona pandemic. With a medium degree, as for the second field, mechanisms for activating the role of government school principals and principals in the governorate of Irbid to professionally empower male and female teachers during the Corona pandemic, it also came with a medium degree It also appeared that there are no statistically significant differences according to the variable of sex, age and specialization (teacher and teacher) at the significance level α=0.05 for the field and the tool as a whole between the arithmetic averages of the role of government school principals and principals in Irbid governorate to professionally empower teachers during the Corona pandemic. Based on the results of the study, he made several recommendations; Among them is the necessity to develop effective strategic plans that enable teachers to develop and adapt in all circumstances and the participation of teachers in making decisions in their workplace in accordance with the requirements of the learning environment in coordination with the principals and directors of their schools and through the competent authorities, and to provide more opportunities for professional growth by intensifying courses and workshops for professional development.
