The participants of the study consisted of student teachers, third year English section, Faculty of Education, Arish University (N=36). The study adopted the one-group pre- posttest design. Three main tools were used in the current study: an EFL reading comprehension skills checklist required for the third year student teachers, an EFL reading comprehension skills test (pre-post) to measure student teachers‘ EFL reading comprehension skills and the program was based on digital scaffolding. The Quantitative method was used for collecting and analyzing the data. Using digital scaffolding-based program was administered to the participants during the first semester of the academic year 2020/2021. Results of the quantitative analysis revealed that the student teachers‘ reading comprehension skills were developed significantly as a result of using digital scaffolding. Therefore, it can be concluded that using digital scaffolding was effective in developing EFL student teachers' reading comprehension skills.
