A1 Mohamed, Fatma Sadeq A2 Abdel-Haq, Eman Mohammed A2 Ali, Mohamed Awaadh Abdelgawad AB The purpose of the present study was to investigate the impact of using readers theatre on improving EFL reading prosody among primary stage pupils. The design of the study was one group design; the participants of the study were from 6th year primary stage pupils. (N=30), the pupils were instructed by using readers theatre. The instruments of the study were two instruments: A pre - post oral reading prosody test, and a multidimensional fluency scale for correcting the test. The test was administered to the participants before introducing readers theatre. Following to applying readers theatre, the test was introduced to the participants. The researcher prepared a program based on readers theatre to improve EFL reading prosody of the participants. Findings of the study showed that EFL reading prosody skills of the participants improved due to the effect of using readers theatre. This proved that readers theatre is effective in developing EFL reading prosody skills among 6th year primary stage pupils.
