A1 علاوي، فاضل كاظم AB The research aims to identify the difficulties of teaching science subject for third grade primary students from the viewpoint of subject teachers according to gender variable, academic achievement and years of service from male and female science teachers in primary schools affiliated to the Directorate of Education / Third Yearbooks. During its presentation to a group of arbitrators and specialists in the methods of teaching science, measurement and evaluation, as well as extracting stability in the midterm segmentation method and using the Pearson correlation coefficient where its coefficient reached (0,77) and was corrected by the Spearman Brown equation as it reached (0,82) and after completing the required procedures, Applying the tool in its final form to the research sample and after calculating the final grades of the questionnaire and using the appropriate statistical means to analyze the data, which is the weighted mean and the percentage weight And the results that were reached showed that science teachers for the third grade of primary school face some difficulties in teaching science subject, including the lack of a sufficient introduction in the previous stages of science and the absence of a priority for the science lesson in the first grades and in light of this the researcher put a number of recommendations and Suggestions related to the results of the research.
