The study followed a pre-post experimental one group design. The participants were 30 students of second year enrolled in English section at Faculty of Education, Benha University. To determine the most important and required EFL reading automaticity skills for the study sample, a list of EFL reading automaticity skills was designed and validated by a number of EFL jury members. A pre and post EFL reading automaticity test was designed. Students were pretested, to determine their entry level of EFL reading automaticity skills. They were trained through the sessions' program on how to develop their reading rate and comprehension. The test was re-applied on the participants to assess the progress in their level of performance in reading automaticity. Results of the study revealed that there was a significant difference in the pre post assessment of EFL reading automaticity skills in favor of the post assessment. Accordingly, the program was effective in developing the EFL reading automaticity skills.
