A1 أقرع، فدوى فخري عبد القادر AB This study aimed to determine the degree of computer teachers in government schools in raising computer competencies in Jerash from the point of view, and the researcher followed the descriptive survey method due to its suitability for the study. The results of the study showed that the competencies possessed by computer teachers according to the three domains (Computer Employment Competencies in the Teaching Process, Teaching Software Design Competencies, Obstacles to Employing Computer Competencies) were moderately for the three domains and that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (a≤0.05) in the responses of computer teachers towards the degree of availability of computer competencies with them due to the variable of gender, experience, and academic qualification. The study recommended that the Ministry of Education should pay attention to focusing on computer competencies for computer teachers before placing them.
