Level of cognitive dissonance among Secondary school students in the light of some variables in the Directorate Of Education of Qasbah Al Mafraq The sample of the study consisted of (213) male and female students where (113) were male students and (100) female students. The sample of the study was selected randomly from high school students the Directorate of Education of Qasbah Al Mafraq in the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019. To achieve the objectives of the study, Kareem Measure (2016) was used to measure the level of cognitive dissonance among high school students. The results of the study showed that the level of cognitive dissonance among high school students was average. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the cognitive dissonance among secondary school students according to the gender variable and for the interest of females. Besides, the results also indicated differences in cognitive dissonance among secondary school students according to the variable of the grade and for the interest of second secondary students. There were no differences in cognitive dissonance for secondary school students according to the specialization variable.
