A1 محمد، ماهر أحمد حسن AB The study aimed to develop a proposed concept to activate media education in public education schools in the light of the experiences of some advanced countries. The study used the descriptive-analytical method, and applied a questionnaire to a random stratified sample of (641) teachers in primary, middle, and secondary schools in Damman and Khobar. The study approached the following results: - Media education is achieved in general education schools with a medium degree . - There are administrative, organizational, human and material requirements that should be met in schools to activate media education . - There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.01) between teachers and teachers in the axes of the reality of media education and requirements to activate for the benefit of teachers. - There are no statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample in the axes of the reality of media education and the requirements of activation due to the variable of the educational stage and the number of years of experience.
